At Brookfield, we challenge all children to strive for academic, creative, sporting and personal accomplishment within a broad, vibrant and enriched curriculum. With this in mind we are pleased to share with you recent results from KS1 and KS2.
Key Stage 2 (Year 6) SATs 2024
This year we were delighted with our KS2 results which were above National and Camden for reading and writing.
Each year at Brookfield, the children are assessed against a set of nationally agreed criteria. The national curriculum tests at the end of key stage 2 (often referred to as SATs) are administered in mathematics, reading and grammar punctuation and spelling. Children are also assessed by their teachers for writing, which is moderated by the local authority.

At the end of Year 1, children take part in the Phonics Screening Check.

Performance Tables
Performance Tables are also produced by the Department for Education (DfE). They give information on the achievements of pupils in primary, secondary and 16-18 provision in schools and colleges, and how they compare with other schools in the Local Authority (LA) area and in England as a whole. From 2011 the scope of the tables was changed to display a wider range of key performance measures including information on finance, absence, school workforce and the most recent Ofsted reports.

2023 Brookfield Ofsted Inspection ReportOfsted outcome letter to parents
The latest Ofsted report was September 2023.
We were very pleased with the positive outcome of our ‘ungraded’ 2023 Ofsted inspection. The inspector judged the school to continue to be ‘good‘ and caring school, and identified some areas of strength within the report.
