School Uniform

Please ensure that:

Your child wears sensible clothing to school and that they are able to change in and out of for PE lessons themselves, as we encourage independence.
In spite of our best efforts and our aprons, clothes can occasionally get spoilt, and therefore we do not recommend children wear 'special' clothing items.
Clothes are appropriate to the weather each day as your child spends over an hour in the playground during their lunchtime
In summer we recommend hats and a coating of sun cream before school, and we discourage bare shoulders and backs
All clothes are labelled especially cardigans, sweatshirts and coats so we can return lost property
Hair is tied back to avoid the spread of nits
Any earrings worn are stud earrings to avoid ear injuries
Children have a change of clothes suitable for PE lessons (we do have a school PE T-shirt and shorts that can be purchased at the office)
Hats, bandanas and other headgear can only be worn in class when for religious reasons.
No clothing is worn that contains inappropriate graphics and images.
PE kits can be left at school in kit bags, but they must be labelled and kept clean. If your child is representing the school in a match, sports kit will be provided, but please check in advance for other items (such as shin pads, gloves etc).
